what's this??

this is what you do with the egg whites you find in the freezer. It's a shame- a crying shame- to waste perfectly good egg whites. We made it, we ate it, it was DECLICIOUS!!!
this is how you beat the heat on a hot train when you're too little to notice that no one else is running around in their undies...
this is Little Boy A at the bus station, happily running around playing in puddles, rolling on the ground, licking the cement
On to the next puddle
This is Little Boy B at the bus station. His mom would not let him: 1- run through puddles. 2- roll on the ground. 3- lick the cement. And he wanted to, believe me...
:) Guess
It's what we did today- besides go to the lake and have a cookout and sweat buckets. We made these yummy things and then rolled them in powdered sugar. Oh Wow. Krispy Kreme, you got nothing on us. We are All Over You.
burp.

Have a good rest of the weekend. Especially if you're at Shoals... where I'd love to be and hope to be in One Short Year!!! ;)

  1. great pics! i think i would have been the mom to boy b...mostly for the licking the cement part...blech!;0) was glad to pick out the clarification that noone else was standing around in their undies...that would have been quite "interesting.";0) the donuts look delicious...we no longer have a krispy creme here(at least not close to us)...sigh...;0)

  3. Yeah, Heather- I don't reckon Little Boy A's mom knew just what all he was doing...then again, she really wasn't watching. He was super cute, though!
Emily- :) I'd say we have a lot of common acquaintances.

  6. Shouldn't have looked at your blog before breakfast... those donuts make me hungry! The undies really crack me up... apparently they were unfazed by their "outfits" (or lack of?!?). I have a feeling my son would be more than willing to lick the cement @ a train station if he were left to his own little plans. He's had some doozy ideas lately, looks close to their age... will blame it on that & hope it's something he'll grow out of : P

  8. Well in the case of a kid in my care, I would instantly turn into Mom of kid B if he got to licking the cement! The puddles were too shallow, though, to warrant not letting him run through them! And I was proly most definitely kid A at that age. Sigh...My poor Mom...
    Mindy- recipe's posted
Erin- ;)Surely not one of yours?!
Della- Hello to Uncle D! Saw the speaking list! Have good days! (Ps- I lost your email add- could you get it to me, please? Thanks!)
