Here in Simferopol, one of the larger cities in Crimea with Rachel. Rachel is a med student from Malaysia- and she is a good cook! I think her mom must be, too! Here's what we had for lunch:
"Pusu"

soak the pusu (dried tiny fishies!) in water till soft; grind garlic with the mortar and pestel, and add fish and grind some more. In a bowl, mix flour, diced onions and fish/garlic mixture; add salt, chili powder and water. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil; fry both sides well. Eat! (Dip in chili sauce- this is Malaysian chili sauce- very red and nice n hot!)

Hi Anita, This is Linda L in Wyoming. I noticed a few entries back that you mentioned you were with Sharon A. this month. I was happy to hear just a little of her. She is a distant kin to my husband Jim. Please greet her for us. I check in with you once in awhile from Corey and Julie's blog. Tom and Stacie (off their blog) are my kin as is Michael and Diane off T/S blog is Sharon has time to catch up with some of her distant relatives.
ReplyDeleteIt is always interesting to check in with you. Linda L in Wyoming
