And my hat has been hanging around here. The city I've been in the past week (where I was in Dec as well) is a major iron-ore mining area. Right now, I'm on a train headed west to collect documents that will hopefully enable me to stay for the summer. The train goes right past some of the mines. Everything is covered in reddish-orange dust. They say this is one of the most polluted cities in the country, But you don't really notice it living here. There are lots of trees and parks.
We're waiting to hear if our Musketeers got in. They should be at the border by now. So just waiting- which can be the hardest part of all. Take Care!
Ya, they made it. I heard from Curly.
ReplyDeleteAt first, I thought they were a couple of wonderful oil paintings!
